Bonsai Pots
Bonsai pots are made from various materials, but generally what is commonly available would be plastic, fiberglass, cement, mica and ceramic. various kind of ceramic should be classified, by considering its construction and make. As a rough guide, earthenware are normally fired at temperatures in the range of about 1000 to 1200 degrees Celsius. This is the most common form of bonsai pot. Stoneware is fired at between about 1100 to 1300 degrees Celsius; and porcelains at between about 1200 to 1400 degrees Celsius. However, the way that ceramics mature in the kiln is influenced not only by the peak temperature achieved, but also by the duration of the period of firing.
